This is the Plenert Family as of July 1993, which was one of the last times we were all together in the same place at the same time. Egypt continued

Here's some more pictures of our tour in Egypt. We went to several interesting restaurants -- one of which I was invited to join in in making flat bread on the outdoor oven. I was a complete failure . . . it's alot harder than it looks!! We visited a rug factory where we saw a young girl weaving a silk rug. We also went to the National Museum, the National Mosque, the Coptic Church and a market.

    I wouldn't have taken pictures of the soldiers. You guys are brave. You never know how people in other countries will react to having their picture taken. I'm happy you guys are home safe... and FYI, Karli and I need to buy a rug. We should've had you guys get us one!
