Traveling Peru With Smiths

We are so excited to take our first trip with our good friends, Steve and Vicki Smith. Sadly, we had to travel to Peru without them as they were attending Vicki's father's funeral on the day we were to leave. So sad. But they were able to catch up with us and then we traveled to the jungle together. Here's a few pictures of our time in the jungle. Here's our jungle bungalow -- complete with mosquito netting around the bed and hot shower!! Getting ready to take a jungle walk -- trails still muddy at the end of the rainy season. Some of the animals we've seen. Smith's on top of the canopy -- we walked up a tower 120 feet so we could get some great views. Enjoyed our boat rides on the Amazon -- on one of them we were served lunch which was a rice dish wrapped in a banana leaf. Very tasty -- we all enjoyed it!
